Amanda had some fun at Abravanel Hall and the All-Star Evening

Amanda had the opportunity to play at Abravanel Hall with the Utah Symphony this month. She was picked from the Utah Valley Youth symphony, a local orchestra that she has played in for 3 years now. It was a really fun opportunity for her to see the inner workings of an orchestra. There was about 50 kids picked from the whole state to play and they each got to be stand partners with a symphony player. Amanda was the only cellist from her orchestra to go and the only one from PG High School to attend this year. She really enjoyed meeting her practice coach, he was the 1st chair cellist for the symphony and she had been to many performances and watched him play many times as she has attended the symphony with Brad over the years. She was also delighted to meet her stand partner for the same reason. It was a great experience and we are so delighted that she got to do it! Great Job Amanda! We love you!
