Indulge in these yummy cookies!
I happened upon the best cookie recipe this week! Why are cookies so good? Is it the chocolate chips? Is it the gooey soft middles? Is it the crunchy brown edges? I think it is the combination of all of these elements. Oatmeal chocolate chip are my favorite and plain oatmeal are a close second. I got both with this one recipe. Simply leave out the chocolate chips for a chewy wonderful oatmeal cookie. Of course I will give you the recipe.....I'm trying to count how many of them I ate this week. I shared them at the office and at home and I always ate just one more! Oh well, who cares! ENJOY!!!!!
Amiee's Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon (opt.)
4 cups flour
5 cups rolled oats
2-3 cups chocolate chips
Cream together butter and sugars, add vanilla and eggs, mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add chocolate chips. Bake at 375 degrees for 11 minutes.
This recipe makes lots of cookies, you can also half this recipe.
