The Garden Contest
It's a friendly competition just between my kids! I was having such a hard time getting inspired to plant my extensive square foot gardens that I happened upon a solution. I proposed that each of the kids take a 3 by 3 garden and make it their own this year! We went to the garden center and they got to buy whatever they wanted to grow. (Will rethink this one as they spent a lot of money, next year there will be a cap!) I told them we would judge on beauty and productivity! So here's how it went!

Definitely post the updates on these gardens!
Why didn't I think of that? As we speak, my "gardens" are filled with weeds and feeling quite neglected.
